1/72 scale models of test aircraft at Boscombe Down and Bedford
The Royal Air Force uses test aircraft for various experiments through the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE) and also to evaluate pilot operating limits through the Empire Test Pilots School.
Some very colourfull aircraft can be seen, often in the red-white-blue "Raspberry. Ripple" schemes:
