(A2) AIRFIX (Hornby) released a new first generation 1/72 Hawk kit a couple of years ago. 

It was not much better than their old kit. The first version is kit box no. 02005. On this one, it seems the undercarriage doors are a bit undersized. A bit confusing is kit no. 02005A / A50031A ("made in India"). It has a different parts layout and some improvements including doors correction were done. There is a one piece canopy and a single "display pilot". The later style fillet under the rudder seems to be moulded. 

There are about 60 parts with reasonable panel lines. The cockpit is a bit basic.
